Just 45 minutes from Adelaide via the South Eastern Freeway, Rural City of Murray Bridge is the hub of the Murraylands with 95% of the population living in the township of Murray Bridge. The award winning Monarto Zoological Park draws visitors from around the nation and the world giving the Rural City an international profile. Extensive road and rail networks link the Rural City to state and regional transport locations. With population growth expected to increase to 30,000 by 2025 the Council has undertaken extensive community consultation through the Urban Growth Management Plan.
