Tourism in the Murraylands is predominately focused around the River Murray. There are many events hosted in the region throughout the year, including the International Pedal Prix and the Tour Down Under.

The Tourism Industry in many of the River towns is reliant upon houseboats or pleasure craft both slow and fast paced.
